Palladio Lip Stain in Orchid Initial Reaction.
Very pigmented. Much darker than expected. I was expecting the light lavender color of the packaging, I'm not sure if it is the pigmentation of the product or that my lips are very pink on their own which tends to change the color of all the lip products that I wear. It turned a bright fushia color on me which I really really liked but wasn't what I purchased it for.
How's the staying power?
Four hours and one large sonic vanilla dr pepper later, the color is still there. Not as vibrient but there. It looks like, after four hours, more what I expected it to look like when I first applied it.
It claims not to dry out your lips.
But don't they all? This one comes the close though. I've tried Benfit's benetint, tarte's cheek & lip stain, and cover girl's new lip stain just to name a few. Tarte's is definatly the best as far as hydration goes, it is more of a gel consistancy so it's kind of a given. This one is definatly cheaper and more portable though. I do believe that this does not dry out my lips, but, left to their own device, my lips will be partched so gloss is a must. I would suggest a gloss over any lip stain for hydration's sake anyways. Although for me nothing saved my lips from covergirl's drying effects...it was a no go.
Over all I think its a 4 out of 5 stars It's a great product and very affordable but I don't like not knowing what color I am really getting until I get home, know what I mean? My main gripe with "drugstore" cosmetics is just that... put out a freaking tester already!
What do you think? Have you tried this brand? This lip stain? What are your thoughts on it? Share your experiance. Did I leave anything out of this review that I should cover next time?

HiYa
Hey everyone! All zero of you people actually reading my blog =)~
Is it possible to have a negitive amount of readers? hmmm.... anyways! On to my meaningless rambling! Away!
Too much caffine - that's what I get for having dr. pepper for breafast! Sugar & caffine, better together!
Anyways... I thought I would write for my first post how to score some sweet deals, mostly on makeup and clothes but these "tips" apply to pretty much anything you buy.
1) Sign up for email newsletters for any brands that you even might want to buy from. Lots of companies have freinds & family sales and you will usually get first alerts clearance sales. Free Shipping codes, etc.
2) Check out other websites. You can use google but RetailMeNot.com is an exclent source of sale codes. They even have ratings and expiration dates- that's very important! Takes the guess work out of if the codes actaully work or not!
3) If you don't like it - Don't buy it, no matter how cheap it is! Spending money on something that you will not use even if it's a fantastic deal is not really saving money. If it doesn't bring you joy and you can't / won't use it -It's just a waste.
4) Stalk your favorite store's websites. The best way to shop for great deals is online. It's less time consuming! Costs nothing in gas and is great in the wintertime because its too dang cold to go outside anyways!!! You will find good clearance sales this way - clearance sales are a good way to buy things to try out - something that you wouldn't normally wear or try instead of spending alot on something just to find out you don't like it!
Other things to consider:
Return Policies! Always check the return policies and remember - they tend to be different for sale/clearance items.
Well, that's all I've got in my lil' ol mind right now so I hope this helps you out! Even though it is Monday - have a great day everyone (pretend it's friday if you have to! ha!)
The "B"
So the question of the day is....(drum roll..) - What are your favorite "get a good deal everytime!" shopping sites? Mine? It's a tie - Beautycrunch.com and Sephora's (search "sale") clearance section. Let me know!
